Our clinicians are Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Board Certified Associate Behavior Analysts with years of experience helping families with behavior problems.   We employ a person-centered approach of helping people reach their goals through empirically validated treatment approaches utilizing measurable outcomes.  Treatment approaches take into account helping individuals by addressing family and environmental dynamics.

 Since receiving his Master's degree from Western Michigan University in 2001, Daniel Knittel has held positions as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst serving individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Traumatic Brain Injuries. He is currently a Behavior Analyst with Positive Behavior Interventions, Inc. His interests include organizational behavior management applied to ABA service delivery in human service settings.

  • Level 1 Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Certification # 1-01-0633
  • Teaching experience including college courses in psychology and education
  • Populations served: children and adults with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities, ADHD, Mental Impairments, Multiple Impairments, and Traumatic Brain Injuries
  • Several years of hands-on experience conducting behavior assessment and providing behavior analysis service, including parent training, staff training, Discrete Trial Therapy and other ABA protocols in homes, group homes and residential facilities.  Treatment have been applied to various problem behaviors including physical aggression, verbal aggression, property destruction, self-injurious behavior, and inappropriate sexual behavior
  • I believe in helping persons reach their goals through empirically validated treatment approaches utilizing measurable outcomes.   Treatment approaches take into account helping individuals by addressing family and environmental dynamics. 

 

Nick Behling, BCaBA

 

  • Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst – Certification # 0-07-2371
  • MA in Social Science.  Currently pursuing masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Populations served include children with autism spectrum disorder, other developmental disabilities, and emotional behavior disorders
  • Experienced in implementation of behavior analytic treatments including:  parent and staff training, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Discrete Trial Training (DTT, Natural Environment Training, social skills training, teaching imitation skills, requesting skills, sequencing skills, verbal skills, and other basic learning skills.

Contract
We can work with clients who have long-term or short-term needs for Behavior Services.  

Permanent Placement 
If a client needs to fill a permanent position, PBI can help recruit Behavior Analysts.  PBI recruiting efforts can result in finding qualified professionals that exceed the clients' highest expectations.

Temporary to Hire
If a client has a permanent position but would like to ensure the candidate has the specific skills and the overall professionalism required, PBI can provide highly qualified candidates for an agreed-upon trial period.
